The Vision Festival will be here in one week, and tickets are selling fast Be sure to get yours soon to join in on the celebration.  Single night and full festival passes are available, as well as discounts for students and seniors.  

Tickets for the films at Anthology Film Archives on June 9 are available at the Anthology box office 30 minutes before the first program of the day.

"After a six-decade career traversing the realm of unrestricted improvisation, the drummer Andrew Cyrille is fully deserving of the lifetime-achievement honor he will receive at this tenacious festival, now in its twenty-fourth year. Kidd Jordan, Amina Claudine Myers, and Kris Davis are among the exemplars of open-ended jazz featured in the course of six evenings, with the event's opening night devoted to Cyrille's alliances with such luminaries as Peter Brötzmann, Tomeka Reid, and the fellow veteran drum prophet Milford Graves."
