Punch Brothers joins forces with producer T Bone Burnett for The Phosphorescent Blues. On the album, the band examines modern life, or, as Chris Thile says, asks: "How do we cultivate beautiful, three-dimensional experiences with our fellow man in this day and age?” The vinyl release, due February 24, includes four additional tracks not available elsewhere. Pre-orders include instant downloads of the album tracks "I Blew It Off" and "Julep."

Nonesuch Artists Earn 11 Grammy Nominations

Congratulations to all of the Nonesuch artists who were nominated for the 57th Grammy Awards: The Black Keys, Nickel Creek, Chris Thile & Edgar Meyer, John Adams, and Brad Mehldau. Together, these artists have garnered a total of 11 nominations this year. The Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015, in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS.

Robert Plant's New Album Named Among Year's Best by NPR Music, Sunday Times

Robert Plant's new album, lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar, is among NPR Music's 50 Favorite Albums of 2014. Plant's album is a "sophisticated yet beautifully grounded and emotional set," says NPR. "Artists half his age could envy the life still in the old cat." The Sunday Times of London includes it among the 100 Best Records of the Year.

The Black Keys, Nickel Creek Austin City Limits Sets to Air on PBS in January

The Black Keys and Nickel Creek will be featured on PBS's Austin City Limits (ACL) for the second half of its Season 40 in January. Nickel Creek, appearing for the third time, kicks things off on Saturday, January 3. The Black Keys make their second appearance on the show on Saturday, January 31. Emmylou Harris joins a special episode showcasing the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame presentation February 14.

Boyhood Earns NY, LA, Boston Film Critics Awards for Best Picture

Congratulations to Boyhood, which has received the Best Picture awards from the NY Film Critics Circle, LA Film Critics, and Boston Society of Film Critics, and awards for director Richard Linklater, among others. The film also received the Gotham Independent Film Audience Award and was named among the Top Films of the Year by the National Board of Review.
